I am so excited for the beginning of this new year! We have a few new Beehives, I hope everyone is trying to make them feel welcome. It has been a while since our last post, because of the christmas season, so lets do a quick up to date.The Brand New Year website is up, with video, and sheet music from the presentation we saw at the conference center. I had a great experience that night. Just being able to feel the spirit of all the youth gathered in one place was amazing! Our Young Womens Theme was revised, to include the value virtue.

“Be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity” (1 Timothy 4:12).

Our activity for this week will be on tuesday, where we will be making a craft incorporating our new theme.

sorry i haven't been very consistent, guys. well... mostly sister spotts. *sigh* yeah these days i've been spamming up my english class's blog, mostly because it's fun and more than one person actually comments on there! I think there's like 6 or 7 of us - pathetic (there's 32 people in our class) but oh well. it's like our chatroom... though we don't ever talk about english on there... still...

if you were an english teacher... and you had an honors class... and in that honors class you had a student who earned over 100% on every major writing assignment... and whose writing was supposedly "amazing. excellent. or wow." ...would you ever get sick of that person? i'm just saying...
but... i'm not trying to be amazing and i'm sure half the class can write as well as i can... but for some reason my writing style just clicks with my teacher. not that i'm complaining... it's just that... yeah... d'ya know what i mean? A's just don't surprise me anymore...
wow. did you like that episode of wistful thinking? i must be coming down from my high... haha you should have seen me during lunch today. i was belting josh groban while dancing spontaneously in the halls!!! aah it was so much fun!! but then everybody started looking at me funny and my friends started walking (sprinting for their lives) away from me as if i was the plague or something... can you BELIEVE them?!?!? *humph* some friends THEY are... :)
lalala... yeah so this semester i have foods! i'm way excited! of course, NONE of my other classes change so nothing's new... same old, same old. BUT GUESS WHAT?!?! I broke my TEACHER'S record!!! on clarinet he can play his 12 major scales in 24 seconds, and i beat him!!
TWENTY-TWO SECONDS!! WHAT?!
if you think about it, that's like 180 notes... played in 22 seconds...that's about 8 notes per SECOND... yep. i can play an octave run in 1 second. dead serious. :) i feel happy now.

today i figured out (proved) that i have the least flexible feet ever (and NO it is not that funny). ya every time i point my toes my feet cramp up and all... and my feet to the ground when sitting down and pointing is NOT parallel. it's more like a 45 degree angle. PATHETIC!
*sigh* do YOUR dance teachers nag on you about how you ALWAYS have to point your toes even when you're POINTING YOUR FREAKING HARDEST?!?!?! AAAAH!

You should have heard my ice skating teacher telling me to turn my feet out. Like seriously. Does she think my feet are on hinges? And yes. I missed you.
I can do a scale in 1 second on my violin. We will have to have a scale play off sometime. Have a great day tomorrow.
