An Example of the Believers
This month's presidency message in the New Era is entitled, An Example of the Believers. I really enjoyed reading it, and in it the Young Women's general presidency issues a special invitation to the Young Women.
An Invitation
The Young Women general presidency is asking the young women and their leaders throughout the Church to accept the invitation to:
Pray each morning and night every day.
Read the Book of Mormon at least five minutes each day.
Smile every day.

We have had so much fun at our last few activities. The Be's were fun to make, and I enjoyed seeing all of you.

Coming up this week, On Tuesday we are having an activity at Sister Spotts House for the Beehives, and anyone else who wants to work on their personal progress. We are going to make goals, make cookies, and have a good time.
On Wednesday, all those 14 and over before the trek are invited to attend a special fireside at the stake center at 7:00. Parents are invited to attend. It should be full of great information for our upcoming trek.

oh while i'm sitting here bored cuz my special suprise is taking forever, i might as well tell you that i have become the most hated person in my english class now.
oh snap. sabrina can't post a comment. she has to have a google account. she says "hi!" (i'm at her house right now and we're playing around on the computer and we decided to drop you a few comments but then her computer went stupid and wouldn't let her post so you get the second-hand message sorry)
oh yeah forgot to finish...
i'm the most hated person in my honors english class now because we have this perfect mate essay we had to write and we're using go my access (you know what that is, right? well it's this stupid program that's a really tough judge when it comes to grading papers) and anyway we have to submit our essays into that, but since it's a computer ms. moe was going to curve the grades based on the highest score. basically a "6" is the highest score you can get and she wasn't expecting any of those whatsoever because we were only going to do a rough draft - not polish it. and then when i submitted my essay (my rough draft) the scores came up and i got a 5.8!!!!!!!!!! yeah then ms. moe came walking around and said, "oohhhh, they're gonna hate you..." right before she told the whole class i totally kicked their sorry behinds and then they told me i should be excommunicated from the class. yeah it was sad... but i was still all warm and fuzzy so i don't really care! :)

oh darn. i'm no longer the most hated person in my english class because the average score was around a 5.6 - close to a 5.8. oh, and somebody beat me (and now gets the extra credit offered by ms. moe by doing so). ya maddie got a 6... i probably should have but i have a different definition of writing than it does. for example, the very essence of writing is to know the rules, and then BREAK the rules (doesn't that sound right, sister spotts?) and anyway the STUPID COMPUTER obviously doesn't think so. *humph* oh well, i'm happy for maddie. i'm hoping ms. moe will curve the grades for ME because i wanna A real bad... i'm failing her class right now. (an A-! can you BELIEVE that?!?! gosh i was so mad...)
anyway i was bored and decided to check up on this... so... :)
aaaagghhh!!! i've got eighteen minutes to watch 6 hours of american idol before the salt lake episode and... and... yeah you get the point. *sigh* i'll have to catch up later... and get off the computer... oh well. :)
